Morgan is a zealous advocate on behalf of his clients, whether that is inside the courtroom or in all steps leading to trial.

Regardless of the issue his clients face, Morgan does not shy away from difficult conversations and informs his clients where they stand and the procedure moving forward. He believes in empowering his clients to make their own informed decisions at every step of the case. He is not scared to run a difficult or unpopular defence if it is in his client’s best interests. He deals with his clients honestly and directly, and prides himself on providing his clients with honest, practical, and straightforward legal advice.
Morgan has represented clients facing a myriad of legal problems, including: murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, domestic assault, sexual offences, impaired and driving offences, serious drug trafficking, illegal firearms, fraud, and many other offences. Over the years, he has successfully raised many legal defences, including: “it’s not true”, “it didn’t happen”, self-defence, not criminally responsible, honest but mistaken belief in consent, and identity.
At trial he regularly brings applications to challenge the admissibility of evidence due to violations of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms or otherwise to exclude statements, expert evidence, the results of search warrants, or irrelevant evidence.
