Steven primarily practices family law on behalf of spouses, including in child protection and child abduction matters. Steven offers additional experience in estate litigation and civil litigation matters.
Steven
has represented clients, as well as in the past as a court-appointed
children’s lawyer, at every level of court throughout the GTA and all
regions of Ontario, as well as in the Supreme Court of Canada.
Steven
is also a part-time instructor in Seneca College’s Faculty of Continuing
Education and Training, where he currently teaches Alternative Dispute
Resolution in the Paralegal Programme. He has previously taught Advocacy,
Legal Writing and Communication, Professional Ethics and Responsibility for
Paralegals, Family Law and Debtor/Creditor Law for Law Clerks.
Steven graduated
from the University of Toronto, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
degree in 1981. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from
Queen’s University in Kingston in 1984.
